In January, we modernized the media selection of the DATEV registration. In this process, we implemented higher security requirements. In this area, we noticed the following critical points that led to problems during the login process:
The application uses a pop-up to log in. As it is no longer possible to access the popup from the application, this popup remains in place or an access error occurs. Access from the popup no longer works. However, the popup may work in other situations. Recommendation: After the oAuth redirect, a page from the partner can be displayed in the popup, which may also be able to close the window. Perform the login in the same tab. The application uses an IE browser control. The IE control does not fully support HTML5 and does not support modern JavaScript. We recommend using the system browser here.
